All Family Court judges outside of New York City are nominated in
countywide, partisan primary elections and then elected in a countywide
general election. (In New York City, Family Court judges are appointed by
the Mayor by means of a merit selection process.)

Well YOU SHOULD
Here it is in a nutshell without too much boring detail so Normal Non
Political People Understand, You Know Everyday People
The Judges Are screened (Interviewed) by Certain Members of The
Conservative Party, Republican Party Etc separately of course.
Now... the interview goes something like this - "SO... John, Why should
we vote for You, What Are You Going To do, and yes, how is this going to
benefit uuuuussss!!!
These Parties Decide Who They want to endorse (VOTE FOR)
The Judge has an Election Held
The People get people to vote for that person
The Parties Cast Their Votes and a Judge Is Elected
(Of Course there are other things going on behind the scenes)(of Course depending on the state there are different requirements to run for a judicial position)
It is ALL very political and no matter how legitimate it is made to seem
to the ignorant (Just regular people who have no knowledge of the subject)
BEWARE if You are going to enter a Court Room against anyone who is
politically connected!!!!
The more political clout that person has the worse off you will be.
